Probably the most eagerly anticipated F1 year is about to begin. The anticipation is building as the promise of the 2010 year unfolds. Forty one year old, seven times world champion Michael Schumacher is returning to Formula 1 with Mercedes and aiming for the world title again. Reigning champion Jenson Button and the 2008 champion Lewis Hamilton at all British McLaren think that they can continue their end of year success into the new year. Ferrari think they have the mix right with newly signed twice world champion Fernando Alonso, known as a quick driver that has beaten Schumacher joined by recently recovered Philippe Massa who was narrowly beaten by Hamilton in 2008.

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is a favourite with the drivers, not only for the circuit, but also for its great atmosphere. F1 2010 is a new console game being developed around the 2010 Formula One season. It will be released in the middle of 2010 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3.
